Composer John DeFaria has worked with the likes of Gloria Estefan, Bob James, Kenny Loggins, and Kitaro. An accomplished composer, guitarist, producer and performer, he’s lent his talents to many discs in the Megatrax catalog including MX210 Positively Retail 2, MX220 TV Time, and MX229 Positively Retail 3. prince wants cover songs banned
Prince is making waves with recent assertions that he thinks it should be illegal to cover his songs. Fox News reports: “The artist” told George Lopez that he thinks copyright law should be changed so that nobody can remake his hits. “My problem is when the industry covers the music,” he said. “There’s this thing called compulsory licensing law that allows artists through the record companies to take your music at will without your permission.”
My View of NAB 2011
Now that the dust has settled from the annual Vegas trek for NAB, I can look back on it for being one of the more interesting shows I’ve attended.
